I'm told to blog by someone today.. So in order not to disappoint him, I shall blog.. Haha.. To begin with, last week was not a good week for me.. Ya, like the gals say, I'm emo for no reason, so its just my fault... Yest was spent with my darling metalz.. Long time no see them liao and with half the population working now, I guess is rather hard to meet up except during weekends. But lazy bum like me, weekends are super precious as it is the time where I could do serious work. Not that I cannot do serious work on weekdays, but after 1 whole day of lesson, I can't possibly squeeze any more info into my tiny brain. Haha.. Anyway, we had lunch at this korean BBQ place @ Square 2. The service really sucks and there's just too many "them" and they give the "attitude" face when serving us. Sucks big times but thank god the food was still ok. We then went to some ice cream parlour opposite United Square to have ice cream. Really nice ice cream, esp the alcoholic ones.. Thanks Net and Nana for the treat.. Haha The following pic was then taken at the ice cream parlour... ![]() You shall not debate whether its angle or leaning when you read my post or blog.. Is just a lesson to teach you to stay clear away from possible "targets" when you are bloody attached.. Like it or not, you have no right to comment anything. Look at how happy we are! Haha.. Weekend past so fast and is time for accounting lecture on a lazy monday morning. Surprisingly, Jeremy reached earlier than me and was sitted at the LT, ready for lecture. It seems that he understood everything but I understood nothing. Nothing special, nothing surprising, is just me.. Then we went for translation lecture, ended up so sleepy and we just talk w/o really paying attention to what he was trying to teach. We were so eager to have lunch cos already so hungry and I didnt have breakfast. We, me rather, chose the unhealthy choice, Mcdonalds. Not that I have a choice but I'm really lazy to go queue for other stuff. Being unhealthy, I'm still saved from the unhealthiness cos I can't finish.. So I'm sure you all know where the remainders end up.. Haha. Then, go FAL print stuff, "try" to study and I had acct project meeting. Great guy from the company so I had my way... Contact No, Fax No, Email, Hp No, Location... He seems friendly on the phone so I guess should be easy to tackle when we meet him. Afterall, what's so difficult about handling people when I have handled like the "nastier" ones before.. As there was acct meeting and ended near 4, I might as well stay back for translation tutorial, not that I have company on wed either. So went for his tutorial class and my faithful day ended at 530 @ NTU. Everything went fine and I got home before 7. Today, tired but meaningful and enriching. With all the tiredness and work, hopefully my emo-ness will drop. Its been so long since I blogged 1 entire day of event in sch. Guess the voice of the guy from Travellite just brightens up my day. Talk to energetic ppl and you feel energetic. Talk to boring dry people, I end up being emo.. "Jiu feng zi ji qian bei shao, hua bu tou ji ban ju duo" - don't you agree?

Tues post was a bit harsh but I just want to blog it out and vent all frustrations. I received lots of enquiries on what exactly happened. I guess I didnt really give any of you any real reply cos I felt that there's no need to go investigate on such matters. Perhaps I'm really quite affected by little stuff and that's all the emo that is coming about. In any case, I'm fine and life moves on. So pardon me for putting such entries on my blog ya.. Cos I really needed an avenue to throw them out instead of approaching any one of you to bother you all about it. So just take it that after reading my entry, then forget about it ya.. I will tell you if is a serious problem and I need your help to solve it. Otherwise, just take it that I'm nagging at my blog. Haha.. Is the 4th week of school tmr... Time passes so quickly.. Before we know it, the semester may just come to an end. Lots of readings to be done, lots of work to do.. There's just far too many talks and networking sessions going on. I can't possibly attend all of them and I also duno what to attend. Currently, I got 1 on UBS to attend somewhere in September.. I'm just probably going there to enjoy food. Haha.. And to leave them with "some" impression, I'm just gonna tell them I'm Mickey... Not going to act decent and provide them with my statuory name. Afterall, is just some query session to begin with. I think that's all for now.. Battle again tmr.. I just feel sick in the premises of NTU. I don't understand why people can enjoy staying in hall.. Probably, they like to bury themselves with books or they love the forest behind their rooms...

I just want to let out my steam... There's just too many insensitive creatures ard and it seems that I can do nothing about it... I just got to silently accept all the shit and pretend that nothing happened.. Just got to continue to smile and accept..No choice... There's just a million and one reasons to hate going to sch.. One of the most severe problems probably is this. That's just too much words within words. Sometimes, I just can't wish them good from the bottom of my heart. I'm tired of all these nonsense but I guess this is part and parcel of life to be challenged over such issues. At this point, I really feel like stopping my work and go watch TV.. But I know I can't.. Co Law not prepared, accounting half done.. I guess if I stop, I will be inflicted with more hurt.. Not the results BUT the human...

I think I'm gonna be so emo this sem once again... So many things going on, whether to join CCA, go for this go for that, attend this attend that. So many things happening within such a period of time. I feel like going back to JC and tell my principal that she's a big liar. I still remembered that she said that "A levels is the toughest period of one's student life. After that, uni life will be so much better." This is so not true, at least what I'm experiencing is so not true. The amount of commitment in uni for me is already considered the bare minimum and yet I could barely cope with the demands of the work. What else more can I want or put my time to other than my work? I'm so afraid that if i join more things, I will be expecting even more nightmares to come. Heard from my Group A friend that he has 3 presentations upcoming next week and the tonnes of readings that I heard from other ppl from Grp A really quite scary. Some ppl say our work this sem cannot be compared to theirs. But Law and Tax ain't that easy either. Afterall, they are dry and boring modules. Acc 2 seems quite ok now but I know is gonna be nightmare soon, esp with the project coming in real soon. I'm feeling the heat now... Though Malay seems quite interesting and teacher quite funny. I guess translation tmr will also be interesting.. A bit disappointed with Money No Enough 2, esp towards the end. Though I agree is touching, but really doesn't cover much about money issues. Some parts funny, some parts not really. But is a nice way to watch and laugh it out loud. Destress. Ok, I got to go do my company law... Kill me....

I'm so tired and hungry when I reached home.. I hate the feeling of not having my hp with me for the entire day in school. It just makes me feel so disconnected from the rest of the world. Technology really changes our lives. So the whole day I was moody cos I had to borrow Jianyi's phone or David's phone and the irritating woman from school of humanities just didn't pick up my call. Thank God she approved my request at 10am when I opened up my mailbox this evening. I am in neither Angeline nor Jeremy's class for translation. My 1st time in NTU being a floater or loner. Haha.. After 4 sessions of her class, I concluded she sucks to the core. At first I thought she wrote the textbook so she should be quite good, but apparently she's not. She just needs her students to buy the "professional" book that she wrote for professionals and expect us to learn from there. And the worse thing is she's always so soft and only talking to those that asked her question. She doesn't seem to be delivering any content to me. She's so silent compared to the him on wed n fri, so dynamic, interesting and loud enough for me to hear even miles away. I think she cannot motivate me to go into the field of tax, at least for now, I guess. After her class, the next class was not that bad, considering he is the best among all 4. He is clear in his explanation and at least I won't have to go "huh" at the end of the seminar. But the content is simply too much and too dry. Who cares if we can amend articles of association or entrench it? Who cares about board of directors vs shareholders? And all those shareholders' agreements... After 4 hours of boring law, I have to move my lazy feet to a far away place for some career module which only takes up 5 weeks of my precious time. By then, I'm hungry, sad, not motivated, tired. Yes, the lesson was interesting and I sort of like can click with the people in my group but she's simply too shrewd to keep observing everyone, telling us this and that, making us so nervous before next week's mock interview. She is just making our lives horrible. Telling us about networking, body language, tone and posture. I mean how can you change me overnight? And how can we network like within 2 weeks? Signing up more networking sessions offered by them? We are probably just the small fishes in a big ocean. Of all my time working with HR practitioners, one word I can tell u. They r so damn "fake". I would not say all but majority are. 90% of them are very eloquent and they just want to reap the most benefit out of you. Yes, they can remember names quite well, but remembering them only when u gave them what they wanted. Otherwise, you can call them 2 days later, they will have some problem remembering who you are and the purpose of your call. So this woman goes on talking about handshakes, postures, smiles and everything. Then she must bring up people's painful past or bring out people's scar. So what if I'm hunched? Thousands of singaporeans are like that and will that mean that they cannot perform? Sometimes, I wonder HR choose talent or choose looks or postures? And these ppl simply wants to reap as many benefits from you. And she even ask "You can accept comments rite?" Can I say no, pls don't comment. I'm not receptive to comments and advices. If you got to comment that we cannot slouch, then say la. No need ask us come out and make a fool in front of the whole class. This woman gonna make my life terrible next week. I better be prepared and give her what I can. Hopefully, my voice is sweet enough to let her forget about my weaknesses. Haha.. Feeling so hungry, tired and sian, David and I walked as fast as we could to our malay class which is like miles away from where we were. And the lift was too slow for us to reach our time at the fastest time. Luckily, the cikgu Suryani was so nice and she makes our lives so much simpler and easier. Is more fun to attend her class then the other ppl's classes. By the time all these lessons ended, it was 5pm already. I'm so so hungry but I just wan to go home and rest. Took David's car out of sch to Dover MRT and the train just got to protest with me. Delayed and delayed..Stopped for a long time when reaching every station. End up reach home at 635... Finally got to see all my SMSes and check my mails but by then my stomach already cannot take it. Sigh... What a way to end the week. Tmr got medical appt in the morning and I got to wake up early again.. I wan my break!!

I'm a happy boy.. I did my tutorial, did some readings, revise some work... At least, I did what i think is required for the week. I'm starting to feel that I'm instilling more discipline in myself. I shall just carry on as per normal and do the necessary work. After quite some time, I finally feel so light. I should say "light-hearted". Haha.. Everything have straightened out and I feel so relax when I'm able to get over all the stuff that took place. At least from this period, I learn to look at things in a different perspective and to be a more understanding person. In life, there is nothing as "you are right, I'm wrong" or vice versa. Everything is just mutual. Sometimes, people may unintentionally do or say things which will have an impact on you but that is just normal. I myself often make mistakes as well and most of the time, I will just regret and regret and pray that the other party will forgive me. Anyway, I'm really glad that everything is ok now and things are getting back to normal. Back to school, seminars are indeed quite tiring as you got to somehow put in energy for a combination of lectures and tutorials. Lots of readings to be done beforehand and you got to really try to stay awake esp at 830am to listen to what tax is all about. I dun really like my tax class ppl; they are either too bitchy (trying to ask questions to make their presence felt) or some smart alec trying to ask "chim" questions, thinking that we will all be impressed. For me, I don't feel impressed at all but I just felt that you are wasting our time by asking irrelevant stuff to do with the course. Obviously, these ppl have high IQ but almost zero EQ . At least to me EQ is quite important, whether in terms of work or frenship. No EQ at work means offending more people and that is as good as ending your career or being stagnant in your performance. No EQ at frenship just makes u a lousy friend and people will just be superficial to you. Just like the way you used people, people will used you back and when you need help, most likely they will not help you unless they see a possible benefit they they can arrive at. This is also partly the reason why I'm so concerned about how people around me think of me and my actions. Perhaps, most of the time, I'm considered to be the weakest link therefore need more help than to help. But there are times that I can play my part to help, though not very significant, but at least is still some help I guess. Sometimes, I will tell my friends what I feel and that they should behave or act in a certain manner to make sure things are done in a pretty and no-gossip manner. But sometimes I will just keep quiet if i feel that there is nothing I can do about it. I neither want to offend you nor would I think that your actions would affect me greatly. I guess the best way is to ignore the person and not be affected by him or her. Another group I don't like will most probably goes to arrogant people. Sometimes, they may not know that they are arrogant but people around them have eyes to see. Sometimes, being over humble can also be seen as arrogant or fake to a certain extent. Attended the 1st AB228a class and I'm overwhlemed that networking is so important even to people like us embarking on our 1st career. So I guess is time to extend our network and know more ppl. Before I forget, someone asked me just now whether I would wake up at 6am to run. I know is almost impossible for me to do so but I did woke up at 6+ yesterday, thinking that there is a badmintion game going on. But Dexter Chong Wei Ming make me wake up for nothing. Deprive me off my sleep. Can I kill u!!!!

Sch started liao... Lectures, seminars, blah blah blah.... Thank god is 1st week but I told myself cannot slack... In fact, this is the 1st sem so far that I really went prepared for seminars and at least understand some of the stuff that was taught.. Hopefully I can be more prepared in future seminars and open my mouth to talk. Already reach this stage liao, like what huang jin lun said "nothing to lose". Even if I talk rubbish, I probably may the seminar more interesting ba. Haha. Next part of this entry shall be dedicated to someone whom I want to say thank you to. With you talking to me recently, I began to realise why your buddy always rate you so high. My 1st meet up with you was like 3 months ago and I thought perhaps that's it.. 2 times meet up then no more contact liao... Afterall, you are like my 2nd degree fren. But I shall now award you with "1st degree" title ok? Haha.. Hopefully I have the honour to do so.. I think the 1st time you saw me you probably think I'm abit crazy la... Where got ppl so crazy about chasing idols, watching yi nan wang and always talking about "targets"? Haha.. Though I still find you as being quite reserved and quiet, but at least talking to you online, I really feel much better.. Esp during this period. Thank you so much for listening to me, 青一色.... U know why I call you that right? I always give u the chance and lady luck always give it a push.. And you got it. Must be fair ma... I throw tile, let him win, must also let you win ma.. So I'm not biased ok... Hope soon enough I got chance to revenge and this time round, you all shou xia liu qing ok... Let me have pocket money.. Haha. Besides the revenge, you haven't intro you ex-roomie to me wor.. So many malay classes.. Doubt I will be in his.. And you give me the green light to mention your name de hor and I definitely will. Haha.. Maybe I bump into him and I will just say hi. So far your identity is quite confidential wor..青一色, haha.. Nobody knows who you are except probably one or two. Haven't see you for a long time liao wor.. Must meet up for lunch in sch k! And train hard wor.. Your big day coming soon le... Jiayou!
