Birthday Celebration Part 2

After the gathering with the choir peeps, me and Yuesi went down to Nette's place as Yuesi want to do a mini-makeover... So I went there and watch tv... Haha.. But most of the time, I watched TV in fear.... I'm super scared of her "princess" (dog) and I keep on screaming...

In the evening, Lynette drove and we set off from her house to harbourfront to meet the rest (min, cee, nana) at Spizza for Minz and my bday celebration... Nice place to dine at and the prices are quite reasonable...

It's been quite some time since my last entry. Is been quite a dramatic week I guess with too many things going on. One of which is I'm called upon to work temp at Benfield Asia Pte Ltd, some company doing reinsurance. I simply love the working environment and the scenery there. Just a pity didnt dare take photos there (in case those staffs think I'm a crazy person who never work in office before), but I had quite a fun time there knowing the people and being crazy with them.

Bithday Celebration Part 1

Other than the work going on, is "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" time to me.. Birthdays are very important occasions to me now as it is an opportunity for friends to get together in midst of everyone's busy schedules. This year, was rather different from most years as it was celebrated before my actual birthday (1 day before) and I did it with my choir peeps 1st....

On sunday noon, met up with Michelle, Zhimei & Yuesi to eat at "Awon".. Ya, most of you know, that is like one of my favourite places to eat and the boss already can recognised my face. Had a heavy lunch there and really enjoyed the dining time as we were given a room to ourselves and that makes talking much more easier than to be with the noisy crowd.

After lunch, we decided to head for some drinks at Raffles City. Sunday, being crowded as usual, we managed to get seats at Gloria Jeans after some time. After settling down, Yuesi and Zhimei said that they would want to go look at what can be ordered 1st. In actual fact, they were planning a surprise for me while they used that period to go buy the birthday cake. Me and Michelle sat there for quite some time wondering why they took so long to order drinks. So after waiting for 15 mins, they came back with a cake.....

We managed to borrow a lighter from one of the staffs at Gloria Jeans to light up the candle....

It was a lazy Sunday morning yesterday and as usual I woke up late... By waking up late, would mean to say that I would on my hp late and hence not able to see any messages that came in at 9+... Haha.. Then when I on my hp, I saw 2 messages..... "Are you joining us for lunch?" and "I'm driving today. You need me to fetch you?"... I was shocked when I saw the 2 messages so I called to clarify. Found out that I actually forgot about the outing with Metalz... They have agreed to go Liang Court to eat Thai food and I forgot all about it. I think too many things going on and I really wasn't in the right state of mind. So i told nette to give me 15 mins while I change and get ready.

Nette picked yuesi up from Bedok MRT then drove to my house to pick me up, then the 3 of went to pick Joyce up. It is the 1st time I took Nette's car and I must admit wad the other 4 gals told me the other time. She drives very fast and it is exciting to see gals drive manual cars. I feel very excited when ppl change gears and step on the clutch. I think if she train more with her modified Toyota Vios, she can just be a racer... In line with F1 race.. Haha.. I'm just crazy...

As Lina will only arrive later, so we took our own sweetime to arrive at Liang Court. We arrived at this carpark beside Liang Court as Nette say that the car park there is very difficult to park. This is the difference between gals and guys... Since the gals didn't complain about walking, of course I cannot complain la... But if is guys driving, gals will wan the nearest carpark. (me included...haha). Then come the typical me again about putting parking coupon. I told her to just put at 20 mins later so that we can save on parking fees but she say better not take the risk. Then after Joyce went to buy coupons from neighbouring car, I become scared liao... I changed my mind to ask her to put 2 hours when we don't actually need 2 hours. But to be safe then sorry, Nette still put 2 hours. This is just me... Always giving ppl the wrong idea and suggestion..So when I say don't need coupon, most likely you need it!! Cos me and 凤飞飞always very fated.. Haha...

We had a sumptous ala carte buffet thai lunch at this thai restaurant which I duno the name. Overall, I feel is worth the money la... Considering the variety of food we get and I simply love the kai lan and the beancurd soup... Haha... While having desserts, I was staring at passer bys outside the restaurant. So Yuesi, future psychiatrist say that I look very emo... This word is no longer a very strange word to me these days because i think is quite applicable to me.. It used to be strange and I wish it would be now, but it isn't. Guess she's not the 1st person to say I'm emo.
许孟哲 has been saying it for like duno how many months. Haha.. So I shared some of my problems with them and ya basically I'm just being grouchy.. Then while the gals are toking about their stuff, I got bored so I texted 许孟哲 saying that my gal frens said the same things...

许孟哲 replied saying that I'm very and they are right. He say that if i carry on to be emo, when sch starts, it will even be worse. He say havent start work jiu emo, next time come out and work wouldn't I be more emo... Haha.. His words struck me... I'm at a loss and I duno how to reply... It took me damn long to reply his smses which is not the usual me. Anyway, I think they are all right... Thinking too much or thinking 10 steps ahead of others ain't very good. And I ought not to think about what others think about me as well cos I can't stop them anyway. As long as I'm doing the right thing and the people around me support me, why not? Just that sometimes, I duno who to look to... Cos I think different issues must look for different people ma... But thanks 许孟哲 for always listening to my stuff and helping me be less emo... I owe you one k!!! I think more than that.... Infinity...... Haha....

Course registration is so shagged plus irritating. And we learnt a big lesson yesterday.. 1-2 secs lagged that's it.. You won't get what you want..... And when you don't get what you want, you must quickly look for another index to best fit into your timetable. Luckily, me and David saw the available accounting slot and we quickly grab what is leftover.

Now, I get so called the good timetable with the so called popular indexes. But I'm so gonna die next sem cos I have 4 days of 830 lessons. 4 days leh.... No way can i get my father to fetch me to NTU for 4 days. He will sure kill me la... From the east to the extreme west and then back to the east. At most he gonna fetch is 2 days and I will have to travel for 2 days.. I dun mind travelling but 830 lessons and I have to like wake up super early... I probably will cry la... And knowing my pattern, I'm sure gonna skip breakfast for my good sleep... You can imagine me sliming down even further... I'm soon gonna break my 50 mark or maybe I already did... Haha..

On the other hand, Jin and Jeremy did not get what we initially propose. They have to attend the other "group" of lessons on wed and fri. I really hope they can come over during add/drop la... Please give them luck....

I also want to apologise to 2 ppl over something that I shouldnt have done. You guys know who you are.. Sorry!!! Please don't do anything funny ok? Let things remain as it is... If not, I will be super super guilty. Is my overlook and my misjudgement. While I see things on 1 side, I always forget that there's the other. Only after I have done it, then I sit down, then I will reflect what I did and then I will think and think.....

Sch starting soon... I dun wan it to come so soon cos I hate the competition existing in the environment. Maybe I lose the competition too many times liao, that's y I hate the competition and I hate comparison or being compaired. Sometimes I rather hope that I'm deaf or blind. At least I dun get to hear or see things that I dun wanna know. Where's the fighting spirit I used to have? I'm probably still searching....

Anyway after course registration, I went out for lunch with the 2 Js. (Jeremy n Jianyi).. 2Js drove to sch yest but we took medium J's car to Jurong Point for lunch. We ate KFC and thank you large J for the treat... I really nv help much actually, is just making phone calls and checking and after which gossiping with ex co-workers... You have my word for it, dun worry. Anything happen, I will settle.. Haha.. After lunch, fetch large J back to NTU to take his car and I went off with medium J to dover MRT... Is the 1st time I hear medium J singing at such close distance. Haha... Who says u cant sing chi songs? Haha...
