Yesterday was a super happy day for me as I finally got to meet Nat Ho in person. I was at this fan club gathering held at Settlers Cafe which lasted for 3 hours plus and throughout the entire programme, there was lots of games, interaction, activity that fans get to do together with Nat. He is a super friendly, warm, cheerful, humble and soft-spoken guy next door that would accede to fans requests as much as he could.

Woke up real early and met Eileen at Central to buy gifts for the gift exchange at the gathering.

Me with the Xmas Gift before the gathering.

The picutre above is my game group. We were required to play a game with Nat and he is supposed to join the various groups during the game. His arrival at the Cafe was quite sudden and when the host asked which group should Nat join, I immediately raised up my hand and asked him to join my group first. Cos we were short of members initially. When he joined my group, he saw me and he said "You are Mickey rite?" Haha.. I'm so shocked that he knew my name. Then he started munching off the finger food on the table, claiming that he had not taken his breakfast and stuff. We were rather shy so we didnt help ourselves with the food, but he kept asking us to eat, and he recommended the onion rings which he ate the entire platter of it, leaving us with only fries and fishballs. (He's always eating onion rings at the other tables as well).
Then we had the fans presenting him with lots of presents and he was so touched by the stuff we did for him that his eyes got red and tears start rolling down. I'm quite shocked when I saw him broke down. At one point in time, I went to the toilet, but there was a "queue" at the toilet cos many people wanted to go at that time. Nat was oso in the queue too.. So Chit chat with him while waiting for our turns... His english really very good.
We were then given quite a bit of time to take fotos with him. Here goes the photos:

Me and Nat. (Me being ultra shy and nervous.. 1st photo with him leh)

My Favourite Twist. He gladly did it. Super act cute!

Nat posing for the camera!

Busy autographing fans' xmas cards!

Nat took a group photo with all the fans but I have yet to receive the photo so can't show you guys here. He was standing beside me in the photo and for the almost 5 mins, I'm so nervous and excited with him having his hand on my shoulder during the entire period. We then had a video clip showing Nat's journey in the year 2007. It was a touching moment. Then we had a cake cutting ceremony with Nat cutting the cake and us singing "We wish you a merry christmas...." Here goes Nat with the cake..

Nat ready to cut the cake!!!

Nat posing with the santa's hat!!

Eileen, Nat and Me (Someone said I'm like lying on Nat! Where Got? Haha)
Then Nat suggested "zi pai" with me. So he held the camera using one hand and he snapped. However, thanks to his shaky hands (more shaky than mine), the photo turned up to be as follows:

Me and Nat (Super Super Blur Image)
Eileen's photo was better as she used flash. I wanted know flash cos I hate flash when taking such da tou tie and I dun wan him to strain his eyes after seeing flashes for 100x throughout the day. Hahaha.. Nat left after all the photo taking and bidding farewell to us. Me and Eileen then travelled to Suntec City for the bookfest. When we arrived at the bookfest, we saw Nick Shen so she being interested in Nick Shen, took a photo with him. I was reluctant to take at first but later on I agreed so......

here goes.... Mick and Nick.... Haha. M & N.

We then left the bookfest empty handed since there's nothing much to buy there. Eileen suggested taking bus home to avoid having to walk the long city link. At the bus stop, I realised that there's a bus 575 that goes to Bedok but after waiting for close to half an hour, the bus did not come. What came was bus 581 that goes to Punggol so being nice and all (she giving me a chance to be at nat's gathering), I took the bus with her and I paid a good $3.30 for the ride. Ultimately, the tiring day ended off nice cos I got to meet my Idol!! Yay!!

Its finally time to blog.. The whole of last week I didnt go out except probably went back to NSSC to witness Eric's departure and Yu Jin ORD. Time passes so fast. Probably in the near future, I might go back and realise that I know no one in the office. Hahaha.

Yesterday, travelled all the way to Clementi Sports Hall to be a spectator of Badminton. Watched Jianyi, Jin and Jeremy (the 3 Js) played badminton. David couldn't make it as he stayed at home to be his fillial son. Spent most of the time talking instead of playing badminton. We then travelled to IMM for lunch. Ate at Cafe Cartel and it was a simple but tasty lunch that costs only $7 each. It is some ribs with fries and salad. I realise that I eat things very slowly. Much slower than the rest. Poor Jeremy thought that he had eaten more than his own share and hence slowed down for quite a few times. I therefore conclude that I'm very slow at eating things that require me to cut them into pieces. Haha. Anyway, thanks Jianyi for all the Taiwan goodies that he bought for us and thanks Jin for treating us to dessert and congrats to her passing her driving test. When will i pass my driving test? Or rather when I will be learning driving? Haha..

It's been quite a while since I last saw Zheyu so met up with him this evening to had dinner at Ding Tai Fung in Tampines Mall. We ordered quite a lot of stuff and I was so damn full, kept stuffing myself with the food, especially I'm so much more a slow eater compared to him. We then intended to go for dessert at Haggan Das but upon arriving there, we saw the menu and realised that everything is so ex.. Being tight in our budgets, we decided to leave our seats and walked out of the cafe immediately. Took the escalator down from the side and headed for a cheaper alternative, Swensens. At least the Banana Split at Swensen was half the price of that in Haggan Das. So I immediately placed my order on that and we spent our time enjoying our ice cream at the small cozy Swensen Cafe Located at Century Square. Recalling Nat saying bringing her dream gal to an ice cream palour and feeding her ice-cream, think he would need to better estimate his budget before doing so, even sharing the ice-cream liked what he mentioned would incur quite a relatively high cost. Not that I'm being a miser of what but spending money on something similar that you could get it elsewhere or something that you can DIY, you might as well choose the cheaper alternative. Romance can be created anytime, anywhere as long as you are creative. I mentioned this is because I realised that some people they always go for ambience and brand, thinking that this will boost their image and make them a higher class person. However, I feel that practicality matters most and by going for such emotional benefits and classy stuff wouldnt make you a higher class person if you have a lousy character and poor inner beauty. So emo hahaha....

Sch is starting in 3 weeks time. Holidays are ending. Time passes real fast. Really dread the travelling to sch and the torture of assignments and projects. Hopefully, I can survive yet another sem with much ease.

I simply just love singing ktv that much... Ever since school started, I have not stepped into K-box once. But I get to fulfil my dream this week.... 2 K-box sessions this week in a row.. At the same place.. Kbox Cineleisure level 8... And I'm being served by the same guy.. They also get to see the other side of me where I revealed my bargaining skills and "flirting" skills to get the best room with good sound systems and mikes.....

Started off the singing session with Yuki, Jeremy, Huey Sun, Jessica, David and Chris on Tuesday. Btw, Yuki is my marketing classmate from HK and she is returning back to HK after this sem. She is simply a ktv queen cos her voice is so clean, clear and nice. The best thing is she can memorise the entire song (10 mins long) of "Jing ge jin qu". She is so pro and we all miss her singing very much. Luckily, I can smoke through with a few "typical" canto songs that I can duet with her. Another person that shocked me was Jeremy. Everytime, I hear him humming away those songs I thought he just anyhow sing, but on Tuesday his voice just "gan dong le wo"... Hahaha.. Somehow, he just have the talent to sing love songs... But I ain't bad either.. I can sing love songs easily as well as him.. Haha.. Duets are my hot favourite that day.. And that makes Jeremy a easy target.. Haha..

Yuki, Jeremy, Huey Sun, David and me then headed for dinner with Jianyi at Ding Tai Fung. Average food but it was a great deal with the use of UOB card to earn the extra dish. We then headed to Coffee Bean at Wheelock place to chit chat before we sent Yuki off....

Yesterday's Kbox outing was superb... Gwen, Xiaohan, Yi Fong, Clement, Alvin, Qisheng, Weida, Jason & Me. 9 of us had a fun time singing inside Kbox, with instances where we had to transfer ourselves from one room to another. I think all of them are very Zai... Esp the gals... Like powerhouse liddat... Clement is really a very good entertainer, keep standing on the sofa to sing and his expressions really chao funny.. Alvin who has a deep voice also very entertaining.. Keep singing the same english song over and over again. Qisheng, Weida and Jason also sang very well.. Make me feel so stress... Anqi joined us later in the evening as a spectator and I'm quite sure she was entertained by the singing.

After the kbox outing, Gwen, Xiaohan, Yi Fong, Qisheng, Jason and Me went to meet Xiaoqi and Edmund for dinner. We wanted to have dinner at vi'lage but the queue was super long.. No choice, we then went up to billy bombers where we ordered those set meals to cure our hungry stomachs.. Jason really know how to pamper himself. Ordered the Cookies and Cream drink that looks very nice and really I think it taste fantastic.. Can see he is enjoying it throughout the whole meal. Being a relatively small eater compared to Jason and Qisheng, I shared my Mushroom Chicken meal with Anqi and Xiaohan. They were kind enough also to share their Fish meal with me, so we had a combination of chicken and fish. Initially, I dun want to order the chicken meal (Eileen, Yuesi and Michelle know the reason) but after looking at the choices and seeing the 2 guys ordering that, I simply copied. I did a fairly clean job but still we gave up eating most of the chicken. Unlike Gwen and Yi Fong, they seem to enjoy every part of the chicken and theirs was much neater than ours. Xiaoqi and Edmund left halfway during the meal and headed for their next appointment. The cookies and creams ice-cream after the meal was simply delicious. Too bad, Jason was too full by then so he gentlemanly gave away his share to the 2 gals, Anqi and Xiaohan.

Qisheng left us after the meal since he wasn't keen to shop with the gals. Being ok and neutral to shopping, me and Jason followed the gals for shopping at the shops in Heeren. Luckily got him, if not I 1 person shop with the gals, also very weird. Not that I have not done that before (in fact I always do that), but it would be weird to shop with them for the 1st time. Hahaha... But the shopping part aint that long afterall.. We then headed for xmas lightings viewing along Orchard Road. The crowd is relatively large and we had a hard time trying to stay together. Using Xiaohan's Hp, we managed to get a group picture with the shining christmas tree from Paragon behind us. We even stopped by Wisma to listen to christmas carol and it was a fabulous experience to hear them sing along the busy streets of Orchard. We had a fun time last night, enjoying the christmas mood.

How I wish time would stop yesterday. The amount of fun I gained yesterday was tremendous. How I wish for more of such outings with such great company and entertainment.
