I think i neglected this blog of mine for quite a long time. Perhaps, i'm really very tired after work to go blog about my boring daily routine. May is really a bad month for me. There's a large influx of cases, meetings to attend and sometimes difficult customers to entertain. Worked the whole month with only one day of off and half a day of leave. It is really hard to clear them when everyone is also busy clearing offs and leaves during the same period. Thank God, i had a really good partner to work with to help relieve my stress. Wednesday and Thursday was car wash. Though i only washed car for one day, but washing car is really quite tiring. Thank Goodness, everything went off smoothly and I'm glad to my team members who were so understanding to let me concentrate on work the next day. Friday was a meaningful day for me as i took half day off to accompany the folks from the moral home at Mount Faber. These group of people are really one fun group to mix with. I was assigned to look after a pair of good "sisters" as they speak cantonese which is something most of my other unit mates could not. They were close friends and they say my voice resembles a volunteer of their home. Haha. Though I could not make up what they were trying to express at times, but i really enjoyed bringing them around Mount Faber and listening to them sharing their experiences. Also, there was one cute uncle that keeps asking ppl to take photos with him and he is definitely 10 times more hyper active than i do. After the whole event, the whole group of us walked down hill from Mount Faber back to office. The journey was long and tiring, but the feeling of walking a group has allowed us to forget about the scorching sun and the long distance. However, the moments of happiness ended and im back to office to face reality. Things was made worse when I realised that I was assigned the Secondary appointment of secretary for HRC round table meetings. This means more of my time will be taken away. Sigh...... After work, Eric and I went to Tanjong Pagar to meet up with Adeline. We then travelled to Bishan to meet up with Kelvin and Alan where we headed for chicken rice at one of the nearby coffe shop. After the meal, we chilled out at Coffee Bean for a cup of coffee before me and Alan headed home sweet home on board bus 59. Saturday, was reserved for MJ peeps. Lunch time, met up with Eileen, SK, Wayne n Adrian at PS to celebrate the long delayed celebration for Adrian's Birthday. Had our lunch at usual Manhatten Fish Market followed by a short session at the arcade at level 7. Playing arcade games really relieve a little bit of stress. Kenneth then joined us shortly after at Singapore Shopping Centre where they actually played pool while I left for Marina Bay to meet Metalz. Arrived timely at Marina Bay and was really thankful to Nette n Minz for their gifts from korea and Joyce for her chocolates from Japan. We then headed to the same steamboat place for steamboat dinner and we ate till bloated. Though the place was so hot and damp, but the food was great. In a few hours time, I would be back to that sickening and tiring place. But in 27 days time, I would find myself in Thailand and it is time for more n more shopping. In the meantime, it is more cases, more enquiries and more work for me. Boo........
