Today time seems to pass veri fast. Did a bit of work and half a day is gone. Today, office seems quiet and solemn. Not many people reported for work todae. Either got day off or took mc. Left with yy n ruixiang at 2 for sch.

Took a long train ride followed by bus and finally reached mj. Saw a group of s308 people collecting their certs and met ms teo inside the office. She was assisting the clerk to distribute certs to us. Then, we went upstairs to find teachers but most of them were invigilating exam. Then, we saw ms chen and started toking to her. Visited the drink stall, noodles stall and photostating shop aunties. Chatted for a while and thank god they could still rem me. Haha. Then went back to general office to gossip with ms teo. Then, Ms Lai, mrs crossley n mr koh came out one of another. Luckily, they didnt stop to question us much. Gossiped till quite late before we decide to leave as the tutor that i'm waiting for is still having her meeting.

Looking forward to college day on the 23rd. Then, i can go back to sch again. Sort of missed sch rather than anything else now. The teachers advised us to take up some course now so that we would not fair badly when we enter uni 2 yrs from now. Maybe, i should really go improve myself these days!

Nothing much happened recently, except probably last week. Had a mini class outing at marina bay for steamboat. Met many of my classmates whom i have not seen for quite long. Glad to know that most of them are going ntu, which means we will get to meet in school quite often. Had a fun time frying noodles on the bbq pan with Georgina being my tutor, guiding me with her "valuable" experience in frying egg noodles. Ended up being quite greasy at the end of the meal.

In work, i am officially welcomed into the deferment section. The largest section of NSSC. I would say deferment section is like the core service of NSSC as there is endless number of cases coming in everyday and the pile of work on your desk never stops. Was put into a team consisting of a very chubby sergeant, 1sg Eric, being the team i/c, Ron, a guy im replacing cos he's going for an operation and Zhigang (or commonly known as Harley), one of the soccer pros. My team is incharge of a foramtion called 2PDF( duno wad isit called), and it consists of the most number of cases. Learnt a lot from the 3 of them and every day of the past week was kept occupied with learning new stuff and processing the endless deferment cases coming in at weird timings. Overall, the job of a defer clerk really resembles a data entry clerk except the fact that it consists of a wide range of stuff to enter into the system and to extract data from numerous sources.

Last monday came a new guy called Jonathan Ong from vj. He was also posted as a defer clerk and he is pairing up with Patrick and Mdm Mary.

Went TM with Eileen yesterday for lunch. Ate our"favourite" pasta mania except this time round sitting outdoors, enjoying the xinyao music composed by new talents. Catched A lot like Love later in the afternoon at century square. Bought our tickets without much consideration and rushed into the theatre as we were late for the movie. Hilarious movie and i quite like the plot though we could sort of figure out what it would be like in subsequent scenes. Shopped around for a while after the show and realised that everywhere is having sale. Stop at McDonalds for a quick bite after much persuading as im craving for it ever since i enlisted. It had been a long time since i ate nuggets and fries from Mcdonalds(sounds stupid rite). Sat down and discussed about Wayne's return from HK on the 14th July. Most likely going to the airport to fetch him after work.

Hate the feeling of monday coming. Its back to work and stress. But luckily, i got sort of 1/2 day off as i'll be going back to sch with yy n ruixiang to collect certs tml. Rather excited cos its been some time since i last went back.

One week at NSSC has passed. Starting to get used to the life there. Working hours is rather standard. Nothing much for me at the moment so life can be considered quite relax now. Got to know quite a bit of people there. Glad that i could see people from mj there; yy n ruixiang.

Had my first counter duty at tower b yesterday. First time doing it and was quite tiring. Met my old colleagues yesterday while doing tower duty. Glad that they could still recognise me.

Tommorrow is LIFE day. This means less working hours and more playing hours. Looking forward to tommmorow as i will be having my first official muster parade. Haha. Shall see what type of "parade" it would be.

Finally got posted out of the drastic island. Packed my stuff, pulled my duffel bag out of the room and i know a brand new beginnning of my ns life will come. Left the company line quite late yesterday due to the large amount of paperwork dump to me. Almost couldn't book out but thank god that the kind officers gave me the off pass at the very last moment. Stepping onto the fastcraft made me so much better as i knew the bad memories of the island would come to the end. Of course, there are good memories but leaving the island is still the best option one can ever have.

Reach home late last night. Had very late dinner cos i skipped dinner due to the heavy workload. Sad. But the happy thing to know is that i got posted to cmpb as a clerk. Haha, a paradise that what most army guys would want to go. Will begin work on monday as an admin support assistant.

Went to tampines with eileen n sk. Sang kbox the entire afternoon to kill time. Veri long never go there liao. Sang for quite long before i leave. Beginning of the month and i have spent a third of my salary. Shall save more this month cos i will have to pay for my own food and transport from now onwards. No longer SAF dependent.
