Went for SMU interview yesterday. It ended up not as bad as what i thought it was. The interviewers were veri friendly and the atmosphere was not tense at all. This is the first time i enjoy staying there longer for an interview. Pray hard that i did not answer any questions out of point and that i would stand a chance of entering SMU.

Went to PS to meet choir gang. Adrian, Siew Kia, Eileen and Angela were there. I was late and we ended up sitting at starbucks gossiping. Then we walked around PS and were rather interested with the products that are available in Body Shop. Shopped around aimlessly and left PS at ard 6. Went for dinner with my family at Eastpoint and was deeply insulted that for over 100 plus dollars we spent, their gift was 2 boxes of tissue papers. Crap!

Booking in later. Still feeling a bit sick but hack la. Tml seeing MO liao. Hopefully, no more nightmares and hell for me when i book in later. I pray!!!

Went to check my account last weekend for my pay. It has been credited. Not bad wor. Got 2 types of allowances. One is the main salary, the other is the one for the confinement week. Haha, so happy, means more $$ to splurge.

Monday night there was no food at home, so have to eat out. Met the metalz for dinner at suntec. Ate at cartel, saw joleen there as well. Surprised to see me there and we were surprised to see her as well. Then, we shopped around suntec in search of clothes for my upcoming interviews. Had 4 image consultants at topshop to change my image and found some nice clothing and jeans there. But too ex and not suitable. In the end, i bought 2 tops and a pair of jeans from Giordano. At least i bought something. Haha. Never had such a carefree night before ever since enlistment. However, was still quite uncomfortable being a "normal" civilian now. It seems that I'm now quite adlusted to regimentation. Anyway, the joy of shopping on a normal weekday is cool.

Yesterday was NTU interview. Reached there quite early and waited for quite some time before my turn. Most guys that turned up were older than me and they turned up for the interview due to the change of their choice of their courses. The interview turned up to be pretty tough and it was a veri long interview. I tried my best to answer their questions but doubt they were veri satisfied even though they gave a pleasant look at the end of it. Shall pinned more hope on SMU's interview, which is this coming saturday.
Rushed off to bugis after the interview to meet Eileen. Had lunch at Mos Burger before proceeding for a mini shopping spree. However, mid-way received a call from my mum that i need to go see a chinese sinseh. So pangseh her for a while and headed to clementi for consultation. Thank God it was short and sweet. I left the clinic and headed back to bugis again. Went to search for bags and i finally bought myself a bag from Zinc. Then, we headed to bugis street in search for caps but could not find any. Left bugis around evening time.

Sat is my SMU interview. Hope everything goes smoothly this time. Maybe i should wear formal this time round. I'm not really that sure. Anyway, Sun is my book-in day. Sian.. My MC really end that fast. Duno wad will happen to me when i go back. I hope that i would not be asked to re-course or attend any extra lessons or any field camps. Pls let me go out of course. I will thank u guys like crazy. I really can't cope with the rigorous and demanding course of BMT. Pls let me go!!!!!

Just received a call from ntu. Was informed that i got shortlisted for an interview for accountancy on wed. The call came just at the right time since i'm on leave now. Then next week will be packed with all the interviews (smu interview on sat). But all this does not spare me from the fact that my mc is coming to an end. Days seems to pass much faster at home than at pulau tekong, just dunno why!! Anyway, i'm feeling better now but a lot of things are going through my mind right now, ns matters.

The thought of booking in really makes me feel irritated. Got lots of things yet to buy and have to make that stupid dummy magazines which i think i wun use it anyway. Was thinking for what reason should i buy those stuff when i might not have to use them anyway. Sick. Next, seeing the MO is a great pressure. How am i supposed to phrase my illness to them. Will i be asked to re-course? that's the greatest worry. Also, if my superiors ask me this and that how am i supposed to answer. So many question bothering me. Looks like this medical leave is like a time for me to think and become a thinking soldier. Haha.

Anyway, enlighten u guys with some things about my NS life. I'm enlisted to Cougar(Charlie) Platoon 2. The most shiong company and the worst platoon ever to be in. Never thought of being there with those people who are at least 10 times fitter than me and when the majority there falls under PES A. Irritating. First day in camp, i was already "f------". I shall not mention such crude words in my blog. I remember clearly that since the first day i was trembling in fear and was scolded like nothing. This carried on for days and days. Until on the 5th day, i was so stressed up that i fell sick. Was on attn B for 1 day. Then 3 more days later i fall sick again. Got another attn B for 2 days. Sickness i got includes fever, vomitting, dizziness, constipation and a sharp cut by the swiss knife. Feel like dying man. In fact, the sergeants that were so strict that we were already trained to put everything in our cupboard into our duffle bags and then to stand by bed condition at the short-span of 12 mins. It is like hell. First day i kena section ic since i was assigned the first bed in the room. In my platoon, no one came from MJ except Melvin Yeo from s207. Dunno him that well la. Finally the day when book out day came and i happily book out.

After book out, a whole week of fear came in. My blistered foot was badly injured so i was excuse from footwear for a week. Yay man no need to wear boots which is so troublesome. Then last friday i fell sick again. Was coughing veri badly and having fever. Got 2 days of Attn B and i was not given enough of rest in camp. So condition worsens and landed myself in hospital.

Army life is inevitably tough but the demands of the trainings is really far beyond my ability. At this rate things goes, i would probably Attn B all the way and do re-course and re-course and re-course. Which is definitely sickening and something that no one will ever want to do. Shall see how the medical board decides my condition and assign me a rightful status. Shall rest as much as possible now before the hell comes back and hound me like nothing.

Neglected my blog for almost a month. I guess even if i typed this entry no one will ever read! Hahaha..

The reason for my absence was partly due to NS. For a month, this is my third bookout and i ended this bookout in the hospital!!

First bookout
It was a "long" one. Went out with metalz on good fri. Ate at Wisma where they sell really delicious pizzas. Then walked around orchard in search of clothes and most importantly a cap for my hair. Haha. Bought a FILA cap and headed home for seafood dinner at East Coast Park. Saturday, met up with Kenneth and Eileen at TM. Had our lunch at Pasta Mania. Chit-chatted about all the funny things that happened in NS. Then, went to watch House of Fury. Nice show to watch. Comical and the stunts were great.

Second bookout
A bookout for less than 24 hrs. So i stayed at home and did all the necessary buying of stuff for booking in.

Third bookout
Went home on sat afternoon. Felt feverish and extreme uncomfort on my chest. Kept coughing and blood stains were found on phlegm. Went to see doctor then was immediately sent to hospital. Diagnosed with lung infection and stayed there on drip till today. Found lots of medical problem by the specialist. There might be a possibility i go out of course.

Now resting at home. MC will last till next weekend. Hope the coughing will stop and then i can feel less breathless!!!
