I'm finally back!! After days of leaving home, i'm back to my homeland; Singapore!! Toking about the overseas trip, it was rather disappointing. Going to Taiwan is not what most people think it would be!! I did go Taiwan but i went to a veri deserted, undeveloped, dull n boring place to visit my relatives there!! Or rather attend a major celebration at the village there!! Spent 5.5 beautiful daes down there n from the veri first night, my mind was made: to go HK asap!! The only thing great about there is that the house is big and there are altogether 8 bedrooms of which i occupied one!! The toilet is shared between 2 rooms, as expected la!! The bulk of the time was spent on the celebration n eating the food there!! The food was always the same and they werent that fantastic although there were many dishes!! Same dishes day to day!! We visited a few landmarks there but they werent fascinating to me!! So i waited for the days to pass quickly..

After Taiwan, we went to HK as usual to visit my sis.. If u think this is a good period for shopping, u will be truly disappointed!! ALL winter stuff!! Nothing to buy and they arent that cheap!! If u think temple street or nu ren jie has got a lot of things, then u r onli half right. True enough there were lots of stuff but they were rather similar in nature from shop to shop and nothing catches your eye there!! N the crowd there makes u feel like vomiting n the ventilation in this kind of pasa malam really sux!! I visited there on the dae i met Wayne!! Yes, i met up with Wayne there which is at kowloon, an offshore island from where i stay!! Need to cross sea one!! Haha!!! We met n shop for some stuff (shall not mention wad stuff) n had dinner with his mum n sis!! They were so hospitible and treated me dinner at one of the claypot rice shop!! So this kept me occupied for one sunday afternoon!!
I sang karaoke at the greenbox there as well!! Sing k at HK is cheap and u hav a large variety of songs to chose from.. The next few daes was spent visiting relatives, entertaining my cousin who went hk as well n eating (which forms the bulk of the time). BUt truely, the food there wasnt as nice as u would think it would be!! Been there for so many times had made me feel numb about the impression HK gives me!! I can now almost closed my eyes while travelling in hk n fear not that i would be lost in HK.
Coming back to sg these few daes was a bit tired for me and i could not adjust to the difference in lifestyle and the pace of life between hk n singapore!! Meantime, i hope to get a part time job to keep me occupied before the dae i fear comes!!!

If u read my previous entry, i'm telling u ppl---I'm feeling much better this week. Or rather now. This week really a lot of things happened!!

On monday, went out with my chigang--- Eileen, Angela, Siew Kia, Wayne & Kenneth (yes it's him; surprisingly he joined us on that dae; no need to keep.... company_) haha!! Wherelse could we go for lunch except Pasta Mania!!! Ate wad u would have guessed "spicy chicken". Sigh... Then we walked to the arcade n found that there's nothing much to do there! So one bright spark came from one of us to go sing kbox instead of watching movies cos the gals dun wanna watch Shutter!! While the gals went to check out prices for kbox, we guys went to Optical 88 cos Wayne wanted to buy a new specs for prom... So me n ken accompanied and went there!! Optical 88 is one of the well-established shops in Singapore that provides local cosmopolitans like us with the best glasses and contact lenses!! Armed with the most professional and friendly optometrists, they provide customers with a veri customised and friendly service!! They really have veri good smiles on their face all the time and there is simply no barriers among customers and the optometrists!! We met this guy who worked there and he introduced us to the popular specs!! I would sae he has quite a good taste and recommended us with options that are suitable for different occasions!! and he is professional to analyse situation with us and at the mean time joke with us to make the situation not so tense!! Friendly person!! One look he can tell my eyes degree and he added that "ni hen cute" meaning u r veri cute!! Haha!! He said that i am veri smart and intelligent and is the active person in class!! Which is quite true rite! Then he ushered Wayne and Kenneth for a eye test and he is professional when doing it!! He wanted to test me but no time liao so he could only sae next time lor!!! So may go with ken when he collects his specs so as to attend the check. May consider to go there to make specs oso!! Ken calls him uncle but i think it is not the appropriate term!! Cos he really not that old la!!
Then we went back to kbox to sing our hearts out till 7 pm!! Sang lots of songs and Kenneth wanted to sing somemore until the person chases us out!! Sigh!

On tuesday, went out with Kenneth to search prom stuff!! Met him at Outram MRT in the late evening and took 33 to supposedly Great World!! But stupid me, drag him down the bus too fast and landed up at tiong bahru plaza!! Sigh! not a bad place though! Found my prom stuff at Tom n Stefanie and bought shan zha at umeya!! But still couldnt find an appropriate tie! So took NEL to Chinatown and shop at OG!! Was lookin at tie most of the time while he looked at OP t-shirts!! In the end, i bought a silver tie but him didnt buy anything!! Went bossini and they were having cheap sale!! But still didnt buy anything! So too bad, he went off empty ended!! That faithful nite i took bus home and i regretted it cos is a long journey!!

Today, woke up super early to attend mr kwek wedding!! Took NEL with the metals all the way to sengkang and it is really veri long!! This is not the end! Walking to his house was really a long n tiring journey!! Was hot n im perspiring like crazy by the time we reached there!! Went to congratulate him and he gave us a lesson on Chinese customs in a wedding!! The class even make jokes with some of those traditional items~he was unaffected (probably ised to it). We walked around the house and was amazed by a room painted green! Its his room for him to do work so he insists on painting it green even though the wife disagrees with it!! Then we witnessed the tea ceremony! Was short and simple cos no mani relatives came!! Btw, this is the first time i saw MRS Kwek!! Quite pretty wor!! So his taste not bad sia!! haha!! Another person being introduced was his brother--Mrs Chong's student!! People think they look alike but i beg to difer-- quite mature in terms of looks though he is still in NS!! Then we ate and took photos before leaving!!
Went to watch without a paddle at PS after the wedding! It was quite a nice show and really chao funny!! After the show, me n doug travelled to...... i shall not sae where but is a shopping mall!!! Did something really stupid but it was still not worth it cos i didnt really got what i wanted!! So WASTED TRIP!!
